Keilah Pomeroy, MSW, LICSW
I was born and raised in Big Sky Country. After spending some time in Seattle, WA I am enchanted by the Pacific Northwest. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has over 10 years working in the mental health field. I have an MS in Social Work and a BA in Philosophy. I have worked with patients with a diversity of needs, life stressors, and situations. I have experience working clinically with families and children, parents and couples, individuals and groups. I am a generalist and have been effective working with a spectrum of mental health and life problems including anxiety and depression as well as mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, psychosis, relationship issues, conflict resolution, mediation, self concept/ego, metaphysical ennui - AKA quarter-life, midlife and end of life crisis. Basically, whatever trips us all up in the experience of being a human being.
When I am not doing clinical work, I tend to have a lot of fun. I love to explore new ideas and activities. I just took up Ukulele lessons after being a long time pianist. I also am exploring the hilarious and introspective world of puppetry and improv comedy. I am part of a local Sci-Fi Book Club and Arts and Crafts stores are my Kryptonite. I really enjoy standup paddle boarding and eating way too much food – raw oysters and local microbrews, can’t go wrong. I got to marry the love of my life on April Fool’s Day, just kidding, truthfully though, that happened.
