Jason Apple, MA, LMHC
Jason is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing therapeutic services for adolescents, adults, and families. Jason has spent the last 10 years working in crisis intervention both at a psychiatric hospital and crisis hotline, as well as private practice. This background informs the way he works: establishing safety is his top priority. Once the client feels they are in a secure and trusted environment, change can begin. Jason uses his deep curiosity to ask thoughtful questions that facilitate unique discoveries and insight that leads to change. He is passionate about accepting others non-judgementally so they can freely explore their own histories uncovering clues that will aid them in their healing.
Jason received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Liberty University. He uses evidence-based relationally psychodynamic therapies to help clients get access to the parts of themselves that have been forgotten, avoided, or hidden in order to integrate themselves into whole and healthy individuals.
Jason spends his time away from the office with his family exploring the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys meaningful conversation, playing games, and beach volleyball.
