Erin Heath, LMHC, LPC
I believe that we are all on a journey to further understand ourselves and align with an identity; it's my role as a therapist to offer feedback and foster support while you navigate through yours. I enjoy working with individuals or couples that are in a transitional period in their lives, and are in need of rediscovering their strengths. While I work with a wide range of issues and ages, my specialty is working with teens and young adults.
I utilize a strength based, holistic approach to treatment, with special emphasis on cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and solution-focused theoretical models. I have had experience providing psychotherapy within a wide variety of settings including outpatient and inpatient for mental health and substance abuse, and within residential settings. Throughout my experiences, I have gained expertise in treating depression and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, addictions, personality disorders, trauma, identity issues, and anger management, among others.
I hold a license as a mental health counselor in the state of Washington and I am also a registered art therapist through the American Art Therapy Association. I am also licensed in the state of Wisconsin as a professional counselor, with a specialty in substance abuse.
