Daniel Hong, MA, LMHC
Hope is what carries us forward in life. We need it to feel like there's a purpose for living. I work with individuals who deal with depression, anxiety, trauma, self- esteem concerns, relational problems, existential issues, cultural issues, and other mental health issues. I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be the starting place for where hope is restored. Through the therapeutic relationship, I believe that people can start to trust, accept, and love who they are, and as a result, change the outlook and circumstances of their lives.
First and foremost, I like to meet my clients where they are at in life, and take into consideration their goals, beliefs, values, and needs. Primarily, I work from a person-centered and/or humanistic approach, but I also utilize other approaches based on a client’s needs and goals.
