Beth Glisczinski, MA, LMHC
Throughout my career, I have been focused on helping people find a way to be their best selves--helping them to change the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that get in the way of their success. I personally enjoy meeting a wide variety of people in my practice, and I find that the strategies that I use are helpful with both children/families and adults.
At its core, I believe that counseling and therapy are about helping people figure out what's getting in their way and finding tools to get past barriers. Sometimes those barriers are thoughts, sometimes they are habits, and sometimes they are emotions that we can't manage. Sometimes barriers are a response to difficult events or experiences that are hard to get past. I'll listen carefully to your story, help you figure out for yourself/your child what needs to change, and then we'll create a plan to make things better.
I have a master’s degree in counseling from Northern Arizona University and am licensed to practice in the states of California and Washington. Over the years, I have developed particular expertise in helping people who struggle with depression, anxiety, attention deficit issues, Autism Spectrum Disorders, substance abuse issues, and traumatic experiences.
I'd love to start talking with you about what's getting in the way of your success.
