Clinical Experience and Education
I received my Masters in Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle in 2011. I was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State in 2013.
My clinical experience has allowed me the privilege of working with children, teens and adults in individual, couple and family settings.
Change is inevitable and challenging. Change provides us with opportunities to grow. I believe that all people have the innate ability to adapt in order to reach their full potential. I am a systems therapist so I practice therapy in a way that examines how the many systems to which we belong impact our ability to grow and change. I provide an integrated approach to therapy that attempts to fit best with what my clients seek. Clients will experience a safe and compassionate space in which they may explore solutions to obstacles along their journey. Clients will be supported as they develop goals that lead to creating a whole and healthy life.
areas of focus
I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused and Gottman couples therapy, and evidence-based parenting techniques. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I frequently focus on issues such as family of origin struggles, adjustment to life transitions, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, conflict resolution, communication skills, and parenting.
