Erin Frame, ARNP, PMHNP-BC
I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and am licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Washington State. I received my advanced degree from Seattle University, and attended Whitman College where I received my BS in psychology. I have a passion to work with children, teenagers, and their families in order to support and provide guidance to those who are challenged by a mental illness.
About my practice
I assess and treat many different disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar spectrum disorders, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder or other behavioral disorders.
I have always been interested in how people learn and grow and the systems that contribute to our development. I believe that where and who we are now depends on where we have been, and a path to positive change will be unique to the individual. For that reason, I want to work with a client and family to develop personalized treatment goals that fit their needs. I welcome collaboration from parents, teachers, primary care providers, counselors, and others. Ultimately, I aim to be supportive and enable others to make positive changes in their lives.
My experience in the mental health field over the past decade includes inpatient, acute care settings as well as outpatient settings, all with a focus on child and adolescent mental health. I have lived and worked in Seattle for many years, and love this place and this work. I like to play soccer and frisbee, explore the beautiful parks of Seattle, and bring a little laughter and lightness to my work.
